Born in Valencia (Spain), Brian Martínez is a classical music composer, multimedia artist and music teacher. At the momen harmonizes his intense artistic activity with his tasks as Professor of Music Technology at Higer Music Conservatoire “Joaquín Rodrigo” of Valencia.

The music of Brian Martínez has been played in concert halls and classical music festivals all over the world, like The Killian Hall (Massachussets Institute of Technology, Boston, USA), The Riverside Recital Hall of The University of Iowa (USA), The University of Washington Tacoma (USA), the Icelandic National Gallery (Reykjavik, Iceland), Palau de la Música de Valencia (Valencia, Spain), Cultural Center “La Beneficència” (Valencia, Spain), the Palace “Marqués de dos aguas” (Valencia, Spain), Concert Hall “El Aleph” (Buenos Aires, Argentina), The Jan Hus Church (New York, USA), the Hall of The Nis Symphony Orchestra (Nis, Serbia), among others.

 

I try to keep my music balanced between classical form and improvisation, between beauty and abstraction, emotion and intellectuality, tradition and transgression […] looking for a personal, innovative and at the same time accessible musical language.
